Sat 8th June 10:30am -1:30pm and
Monday 10th June 1:30pm - 4:30pm (both with Hulme Community Garden Centre)
We'll be planting up the small beds in the fenced area on Hulme Street with
a range of low-maintenance edible and medicinal plants.
On both days HCGC staff (Saturday with be Mark Frith and Monday will be myself)
will meet people at the garden on hulme street, then walk down to the garden
centre to pick plants from a selection that has been put aside (edible and
medicinal) then people will head back to hulme st to plant up. 4 beds will be
planted up on the Saturday and 4 beds planted up on the Monday. A selection of seeds
(wildflowers & edible flowers) will be available so that they can be spread along
the hedge line to encourage wildlife.
