3pm Toolkit Launch & Learning Event
5pm Celebration, Buffet and Band
This is the last of the Green Zone events to celebrate the project and launch the Green Zone Toolkit, a published and online guide to creating an well connected and well green inner city community.
This event is part of Adult Learners Week. In the afternoon from 3-5pm we are going to be hosting an interactive learning event based around speed dating but replacing it with speed learning. This involves short, intimate workshops given by local people and groups. If you would like to take part or run a workshop please get in touch.
At 5pm there will be music and food. Then at 6pm we’ll begin the Celebration Event. This involves showing films, and hearing stories from people involved in the Green Zone. We’re also celebrating some of the achievements of Adult Learners from across the North West.
Finally a local band will play us out and they’ll be a time to chill out in the Zion Centre’s performance space.
