Online Consultation on Hulme Street

Hulme St 2nd August -

You may be aware that funding is available through the Changing Spaces initiative and from City South Manchester for improvements to Hulme Street, to convert the existing street into a Linear Park for the use of the community. We need your opinions and thoughts for what you want the space to become.

We’ve been in discussions with Bentley House TARA about this and held a joint consultation event with the TARA on Tuesday 2nd August to get peoples’ views about this. We received some positive feedback but not everyone was able to attend and we want to reach as many residents as possible.

An online survey has been put together which asks many of the same questions as the consultation event. We want to find out how you would like the space to be used and what you want the space to be. We will then be able to use all the responses to influence the design. By evolving the design gradually in this way it is hoped that we can come up with exciting proposals that encompass your needs and aspirations.

Please click on the link below and complete the online survey by Tuesday 16th August (or alternatively copy and paste the following hyper link text into the browser):

Draft plans are also available for viewing in the TARA office on Humberstone Avenue.

We look forward to hearing your thoughts, BCA Landscape.
